Michigan family wins $150,000 Powerball jackpot

A Michigan family that plays Powerball together won $150,000 after they matched four white balls and the Powerball from the Aug. 26 drawing.

Gary Hammer and his child Tim Hammer guaranteed their $150,000 Tuesday at the Michigan Lottery base camp.

The pair refers to themselves as "The G and T Players Lottery Club," something they began as a result of their affection for playing the lottery.

"We actually look at our ticket the morning after the drawing and didn't perceive the message we got on the ticket checker," Gary Hammer shared.

 "We requested that the assistant sweep the ticket and she utilized the Lottery's application to figure out the amount we'd won."

The dad child couple bought the triumphant ticket at Harper Corner store in Holy person Clair Shores, Michigan. 

The triumphant numbers for Aug. 26 were 20, 22, 26, 28, and 63, with a Powerball number of 5.

The ticket holder matched four numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. Because of Show of dominance, the award was expanded to $150,000.
